Just send us a finished version of the document — even one you've prepared for a real client. It doesn't need to be annotated, marked up, or flagged with logic. Docrates AI reads the document as it is, understands the information being collected, and infers the business logic and decision rules behind it. A completed example is often more useful than a blank template, because it shows Docrates AI how the document looks when it's actually in use.
Docrates fully supports this through Document Packages. A Document Package groups multiple related documents into a single transaction — so when a user completes the transaction, Docrates AI assembles all the required documents together, each populated with the right data. For example, a new client engagement might require an engagement letter, a data collection form, and a compliance disclosure. Rather than running three separate transactions, you define a Package that produces all three from one guided interview. To create a Package, an Author configures the Transaction Type to include each document in the appropriate sequence, and Docrates AI handles the rest. Packages can be built from documents that already have their own expert systems, or purpose-built as a combined workflow from the start.
Use the Docrates Assistant to request changes through natural conversation. Simply describe what you want to change — a new question, a different validation rule, an updated decision path — and Docrates AI applies the update. No technical knowledge required, no forms to fill out, no developers to wait on.
